In 1917, Melvin Jones, a 38 year old Chicago business leader got together other business men and started what’s now known as the “Association Of Lions Clubs.” Now, 100 years later and 1.35 million members in more than 46,000 Clubs around the world. Our motto is “We Serve.”
The Granger Lions Club was started in 1948. The most members that we have had is 42 members. As of to day we have 32 members. We have our meetings the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Granger Lions Club. Our members can be a sponsor to anyone who wish to attend our meetings or become a member. We make a lot of contributions to different organizations with all the money that we make from fundraisers. All our work is volunteered work for our community.
